An excerpt from a recent Greenside Chat:

“The vision here at firefly is to do something that has rarely been done since World War II and that is to unlock the piece of ground, not create it. Here in central Tennessee, we are blessed with rolling topography with just enough cool elevation change to have some amazing golf shots. We work really hard to create golf holes that no one has seen before, and by using this ground that is exactly what we are going to do. So, the journey from the first tee to the last green will really be a lot about what you’re going to walk today. There are these pinnacle moments, these things that happened at the start and I have to think today is one of those days here, this is the start. As we began to unlock this piece of ground, it was stunning to me the destiny of some of these golf holes. The walking experience here will be very strong. The dynamic of the clubhouse sitting up behind you looking out over this vista, a lot of things that really came together beautifully because the ground was made for it. From every tee, you will hit every club in your bag. Each par three will have tremendous personality, be totally different. So, we are really trying to get all those things that make the game of golf great. It is just amazing, a spectacular piece of property.”
